- Code all diagnoses and procedures documented in the medical record for the currentencounter.
- Enter all code information in the HealthQuest system for facility coding in a timely manner.
- Adhere to compliance regulations set by government, state, & the Cooper Health System to
ensure guidelines are met.
3 years of Inpatient experience professional/ hospital coding a plus. Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required, College preferred. Credentials required (Certified RHIA, RHIT or CCS). C andidates without certification must be eligible to obtain required certification RHIT, RHIA or CCS within 6 months of hire. Special Requirements
